Besides having the responsibility to make important administrative decisions, the council organizes the following committees to serve the congregation:
All members of Park View are encouraged to participate in the work of the committees, and to become involved in other aspects of the life of the community. Park View is actively involved in support of the Irving Park Community Food Panty which ministers to families and individuals who face serious issues providing for daily needs. Park View Lutheran School (grades K-8) began as a ministry of Park View Lutheran Church in 1987. The school operates under the direction of the Park View Lutheran School Board, which is responsible to the council of Park View Lutheran Church. |
Christian Day School The Christian day school at Park View is an important ministry of the congregation. We serve grades K through 8.
