Dear Bride and Groom

Thank you for considering Park View Lutheran Church as a site for your wedding ceremony! We have enclosed photos of our street elevation, of our 1920s sanctuary and some of our stained glass windows. As you see, our sanctuary has many steps -- which most wedding photographers love.

Lutherans regard marriage as an exchange of vows made in the presence of God and witnesses. My role in officiating a wedding is as a witness to your vows. We offer pre-marriage counseling, but impose no moral requirements on a bride or groom. I am free to witness the vows made by persons of any Christian faith tradition. Inter-faith marriages can be performed as well.

Park View offers a room dedicated to the bride’s preparation for the ceremony. We also have a groom’s room, convenient to the front of the church. Our Church Council charges $350 for the use of the sanctuary for both the rehearsal and the ceremony itself. My fee, with or without pre-marriage counseling, is $200. Our Music Director is available at a cost of $125 for a basic ceremony, and $175 for a ceremony with Holy Communion. If you select another musician, we charge a ‘bench fee’ of $125.
